Privacy notice

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This notice explains how Orion Marketing collects and uses personal information. Orion Marketing is a trading name of Acrux Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15924681), registered office 60 Tottenham Court Road, Suite 5038a, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW, United Kingdom. Acrux Ltd is the data controller. Contact us about anything in this notice at hello@orionmarketing.io.

What we collect

  • When you apply or book a call: your name, work email, business website, details about your business (offer price, revenue range, ad spend, funnel type, booked calls), anything you tell us in free-text fields, and the call time you choose.
  • When you request our free guide: your full name, email address and mobile number, and whether you agreed to receive further emails and texts from us.
  • When you become a client: contact and billing details, contract records, and access to the business systems needed to deliver the work (such as funnel, analytics, email and calendar tools). These systems may contain personal data about your own leads and customers; we process that only on your instructions under a data processing agreement.
  • When we contact you first: your name, business email address, job title, company and publicly available information about your business, such as your website, ads and social profiles.
  • Technical data: basic information your browser sends, and the page that referred you to us, including campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters).

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • Responding to your application and arranging a call: with your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • Sending you the free guide you asked for: to provide what you requested. If you ticked the box, we also send occasional emails and texts with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Delivering services to clients: to perform our contract with you.
  • Contacting businesses we think we can help (business-to-business outreach): our legitimate interest in promoting our services to relevant businesses. Every message tells you how to opt out, and we stop as soon as you ask.
  • Accounting, tax and legal obligations: to comply with the law.

If we contacted you first

We find businesses that may benefit from our services through public sources such as company websites, advertising libraries and professional networks, and business contact databases. We only contact business email addresses about business matters. If you'd rather not hear from us, reply "no" to any email or write to hello@orionmarketing.io, and we'll add you to our suppression list so you aren't contacted again.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the business. They act on our instructions and only use your data to provide their service to us. They include providers of form handling, scheduling, email, video calls, CRM, accounting and payments (Formspree (forms), Cal.com (scheduling), Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (email), Instantly (business outreach email), Zoom or Google Meet (calls), Stripe and Wise (payments), and, only if you accept marketing cookies, Meta and Google (advertising and analytics measurement)). We don't sell personal data.

International transfers

Some providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge where the provider is certified) or on approved contractual safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

  • Applications, guide requests and call notes that don't lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Client records: for the length of the contract and 6 years afterwards, for tax and legal reasons.
  • Outreach contact details: until you opt out (then only on our suppression list, so we don't contact you again), or 24 months without engagement.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it (including objecting to direct marketing at any time), and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@orionmarketing.io and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Cookies and measurement

Essential storage only: by default this site uses your browser's session storage to remember which link brought you here, so your application carries that information. It's cleared when you close the tab.

Marketing and analytics cookies: if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, we also load the Meta Pixel and, where enabled, Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. They help us understand which pages and adverts lead to applications and booked calls, and let those platforms measure our advertising. If you choose "Reject", none of them load. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

If you book a call, the embedded booking calendar is provided by a third party, which may set its own cookies as described in its privacy policy.

Changes

We'll update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
